Just wondering who still has the original RX7 logo floor mats for their FB?

I have them for my '84 GSL

 

i have the ones that came in the GSL-SE i just bought

 

Do they have the RX7 logo like off the side badge on them?

 

i have the stock floor mats in my 85gsl, and yes... they have the badge in them. you can hardly see it anymore, but it is there.

 

I've looked all over the place, but have been unable to find repros...

 

Ya I have the only set I have ever sceen, but mine are in quite good shape.

No one that I know of has repros.

I have a friend that is an automotive apolstry and interior god, and hea has repaird the seats in my old FB, and now he is retired. I should talk to him about making repros!!

Yep, me too...

Only my driver's side started to get a hole in it, so I took the rubber pad off a set of GLC mats (that say Mazda on one side and Volvo on the other-wha?) and sewed it on for a perfect factory look!

My rex has 'em. But the driver's side is worn at the heel point.

 

my 85 have both of em! both in pretty good shape... although on the passenger side, the "cloth part" is torn from the "rubber part"

so... no one sells repros?

There are repros out there somewhere, but apparently they suck

 

VB sell reproductions without the logos on them. Ive been looking for some everywhere I go because I want some for my car. I was gonna buy some and have my aunt custom embrodery the logo into them though, so that should be cool enough.

I have the original mats for my SE. They have never seen the bottom of a shoe... clean as a whistle, sitting in the hatch!

 

They suck they were the worst thing on the car when i bought it 7 years ago.

The original owner had swapped the driver side with pass. side for some odd reason; now my side is so worn I can't put them right for fear of embarassment.

 

Mine didn't come with floor mats... and i've never seen them either, does anyone have a picture? my carpeting just has a rubber insert for a heel to prevent carpet wear.

 

I will snap a shot or two tonight if I get the chance, unless some one can beat me to it.

I do, for my 83 GS, both sides, good shape, i don't ride with them in though

 

Does anyone have a grandma that stitches? I see a nice little retirement hobby - stitching replica RX-7 floor mats! First name "Mattie" is a prerequisite... Shame on me.

 

The pictures in the link aren't factory 84-85 mats. And there are no special SE mats for those years either. The Rx-7 logo by itself, molded in plastic and glued to the carpet part, is what the factory ones look like...
