Who would want one?
What if I told you that there was a way to put bigger speakers in your kickpanels with a better soundstage, and it wouldn't interfere with your feet much, if at all?
So far, I've had people ask me to either duplicate or sell the kickpanels I made for my FB, which I scrapped once I had a better idea pop up.
I'm thinking that if there is enough demand, I'll build extras and sell them. Would there be a market here for them?

How would you improve the soundstage? The kickpanels are a pretty crappy location...
BTW, you can count that as a qualified yes...
I'd rather buy a solution than have to design somthing to fit in my door, as I have enough on my plate with the car build-up as is...

i'm game, but how big of a speaker are we talking i wouldn't go higher then a 6" speaker cuz i love my fb for what it is i'm not trying to make it "bump" as i'm crusin' but i wouldn't mind a better sound set up.
Fred
p.s. just incase you didn't know, I'm interested.

Well, I will be working on them just as soon as the damn rain lets up... Because those kickpanels are the only thing keeping me from putting my complete interior back in the car.
As for speaker size, I will build them to either support 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" speakers.

Material will be a combination of MDF and fiberglass. The ones I'm making for my car will be finished in leather and suede, but that's just to match the rest of the interior.

Sure... I already have them planned out in my head, just need to go out and actually do some measurements and build the first one.

They will be between $50 and $80 a pair, depending on how hard they are to build. I should have pics up soon.
In the meantime, I'm doing some crazy **** to my interior.

These fit 5 1/4" speakers and replace the stock bottom pocket on the doors.
Let me know, maybe we could meet up earlier then thought.
