Heres an email they sent me when I asked some questions about how it all works...

Hello,
Most of the time we acquire the Gauge Clusters ourselves, so that we can make the templates.
We could just take your word that the gauges will sell, but so far we have only received one Buy-In, and the RX-7 has been in our program going on 2 weeks now. We usually expect an average of two people per week, and right now the average is below one.
The reason that we ask 10 people to Buy In is because we need to produce a minimum of 50 sets, and we figure if the item is able to get 10 people within a short amount of time, like around a month to a month an a half, then it should be a good enough seller to produce 50 sets of. So the way we see it right now, is that the RX-7 will not sell that well.
If you can get your friends to come do the Buy In on our Website, and we see the average go up, we will keep the RX-7 in our Program, but otherwise, we will only keep it up for about another week if we have only received the one Buy In.

Would you like us to add the 1979-85 version?

Let us know. Thank you!

They are talking about the 2nd gen RX-7 though, and if we want them to add the gauges, we need to tell them which year dash to make them for, and also if we want them reverse indiglo, or regular...I think reverse would look the best, because it kinda matches the stock look with just the numbers being lit up...Although, the whole solid indiglo thing could be cool too...

I emailed them and requested a rev. indigo for a '83 GSL. So, I'm guessing that will cover quite a few years.

I emailed another fellow from this site (can't think of the nick offhand) and am waiting to hear back about 84-85 faces. I know he has 'em, as they're on his site, but I'd like something like the 1st gen Intrepid gauses that are black text on white faces by day, soft blue text on black gauges by night.

I'd prefer to buy 'em from a forum member than some mail order place I've not heard of before.

im afraid series 3 only "84-85"
there just wasnt a good enough turnout on the last sets for the older years to make more of them,
plus face erasing sucks and i dont know what they would look like with face erasing

If so, how much i'll buy them.

Ditto. I am confident in V8Kilr. Jeremy - go help him.

If not, lets sign up for the twenty or so necessary.
I am sure theres at least 20 guys here with 84/85 RX-7's who would love a reverse indiglo look.

I got my CD/Mp3 Player for that reason alone. Because I can change the color on it eventually to the Blue, by pressing a few buttons.

Now, those of you who actually have any money put aside for a "all show, No go" part is a different story altogether.
