Where would I find a set screw for the HVAC controls?

Where would I find a set screw for the HVAC controls?
I've got the little plastic piece - but I am missing a set screw for the heat controls on my '79. I've looked at hardware stores, but I've not found any. I don't even think we have any hobby shops in my town. Any thoughts? Does anyone have a spare one? I'd pay for the stamp and the envelope
