where oh where do i put them?

After returning the car's ignition to stock instead of the messed up "second gen ignition" as the PO said it was, the car has started to ping a little less, and is more jumpy on the throttle - but i don't know where to put the vacuum advance lines. Was it anywhere off the carb with vacuum, or was it in certain spots? I really don't know

Lines coming from the pods on the dizzy should join together at a "T". The line coming off of the "T" connector will feed to a nipple at the base of the carb.

Which nipple you use will depend on whether or not you have emission controls installed on the vehicle, or removed.

If removed, use the nipple farthest forward.

If you have emissions, then I'm not sure which to use, but it would be the stock location.

If you still have stock emissions (aka full 'rat's nest'), there's a separate connection for each diaphragm, right next to the dizzy. They are tee'd together inside the rat's nest plumbing, pass thru the orange solenoid valve (vacuum control valve) and share vacuum off the carb base, which draws from below the throttle valve.

I don't have the rat's nest, and i have some emissions but i do not require them, so I'm going to remove them from the carb, and remove the smog pump. or at least remove the belt

i vaguely remembered having to connect the lines at a T from working on a friends rx7 years ago, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the help.
