Looks good in my opinion. I like the body colored fender flares.

PS: You should have gone the same way with the engine swap!

meh, would have more of a neat factor, but I like this one because it feels like the car just wants to go out and rip out teeth.

I love how simple it is. I have a set of watanabes coming for my FB, in 16x7's. The flares are pretty inexpensive if you avoid cp racing like we all know we should, paint, the rear spoilier is the only thing I'm on the fence about.

Never said it was the meanest looking 7...not to mention mean to one person may look totally timid to another. I would have to say that with out widebody/body kit and some serious mods that looks pretty damn mean!

I didn't want to share my secret, but I'd rather help others than be selfish. I kept looking at those flares and noticed that these needed to be bolted on. I don't remember seeing anywhere bolt on flares for sale for a 7, but I reconized the flares. Then it hits me, Z!!! These are the Z flares for the "G nose" Z's. I've seen some for sale for ~150 if I read correctly, though the company hasn't gotten back to me.

So in short, these are for 240,260,280Z's with the "G nose".

Coming from a Datsun head those flares are wicked clean. I plan on putting those on my 510. For the Rx7 though..... they look insanely beatiful. You could find them at MSA motorsports. $180 fiberglass, don't remember price for the CF. They are located in I believe Anaheim CA.

after i decided i want to go trubo on my SA on down the road i realized i had to either go with widebody or with flares. i had seen the renesis car before and loved the flares. i had also heard flares from certain Z's would work and i saw a z with those flares so i figured thats what they were. i guess ill be running those since there arent any decent wide body kits ive seen IMO or maybe im just not seening them done right. there are some on the forum i like, but most are from around the new zealand area. the only thing is, why do they have to be fiberglass. i know those things will get broke, and i wont get CF. cause if something messed up my CF flares, id freak. anyone make flares like this out of something else, or would the fiberglass be durable enough?

also, what wheels are on the first gen with the renesis? just curious. probably way out of my budget

Z flares, I'm only twenty minutes from Idaho's largest Z-Club. I might have to go ask the guy if he's got a used set lieing around.

Is that Brittish Racing Green?

well you're kinda wrong. Those flares are an easy maufactured product. There are a lot of companies that make then for 70's and early 80's toyotas. and here

Wrong about what?

And most around these parts would rather not deal with cp racing.

i dont really like the thought of having to drill the flares onto the 7. i always like to have the option to go back to stock, but i guess in this case itd be too bad for me

Watanabe RS-8
Front: 16x7.5 +20 Offset, 205/45-16
Rear: 16x8 +25 Offset, 225/45-16

You could probably find a used set for around $1000
