where to get inexpensice brake master cyl?

i got one from schmucks and it failed already, so i need a replacement (NOT from schmucks). i also want it to be as inexpensive as possible.

i don't mind getting a rebuilt part, but only if the vendor is good about selling good parts...

any suggestions?

mazdatrix will probably be a little bit more expensive than some other places, but you should get good quality from them..
if you want cheap, check out your local parts store

Cheap is probally why it failed, see now you have to buy another one. If youd bought the stock one again in the first place you wouldnt be in this again + you wouldnt have to buy 2 of them ...

I m ight cut corners elsewhere on a car but when it comes to safety, Ill spend the extra money

i think my master is gone,

front brakes havent worked in a long time,

first it started with the pedal slowely drifting to the floor,

now it just goes straight to the floor,
no leakage at the master,
but only the back brakes work,

it really sucks,
i have to stay far away from other cars,
and absoloutly No driving in ran or snow,

rear drums dont even work that good,

could you imagine them being the only thing stopping you?

i had to downshift hard quite a few times to prevent some amjor accidents,

will look into in a couple weeks.

OH man your driving it like that? Damn !

My 88 vert started doing that go to the floor with minimal pressure applied at stop lights... It started getting worse and worse day by day, after 3 days I went to the Mazda Dealer and bought a new one $144 retail! I got it for little around a $100 but anyways, for 100-150 is it really worth you, your insurance, your car?
