is the SE alternator compatible with a FC pulley? i'm looking at the dual-belt pulley over at nopistons.com for the FC, and i was thinking it might work on my alt pulley...

I'm going to work on a way to pre-stretch the napa belt. I've found that it's a little tight when new. It's still the closest real automotive V belt I've ever found. Just a little thicker than 3/8".
I installed a used one on the 13B in my MG and it went on very nicely and is the perfect tension. I need to find a way to mimick running it for several hours.
I think two pullies with a tension adjustment and a motor to drive them would be perfect. I'll increase the tension at regular intervals untill it's fulley broken-in. Then it should go on as nicely as the used one did.
Wasn't the number 2175? maybe with a 25 at the begining? I'll look it up tomorrow.
