Question Where is the Fuel Filter Located on '82 RX7?

I'm running out of gas at 4,000+ RPM in 4th and 5th gear. My guess is the fuel filter. I bought a new one, but lost my Haynes manual in my last move. 2 hours googling has been no help.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks so much!

It is located on the lefthand side near the axel. There's a plate covering the fuel pump. Sometimes it's hidden under the plate & sometimes it's visible depending on who worked on it before.

Thanks!

Soon as it stops raining (hopefully tomorrow PM) I'll go look for it. Been stuck driving a hand-me-down Taurus for the last 2 weeks. Bleh. I miss my Rex.

No problem, I'll help with anything I can. I'm a helpful person like that.. not everyone thinks so.

Make sure you crimp the lines as close to the filter as possible, preferably with vice grips. Gas tastes bad.
