Where to find screw in wheel studs/lug nuts

There was a place at one time that you could buy screw in studs and matching lug nuts, but I think they went out of business. Anyone know of any recent suppliers that carry these? I tried the local parts store, and they wanted to sell me lug bolts.

Thanks,

Jason

Pinapple is where I went, and they are out of them. They are the ones who told me the supplier might have gone under.

a big advantage is they are lighter

also for some classes of racing they need to see the threads coming thru the nuts

they are also cheeper to get longer if you have an after market wheel..longer lug bolts are alot of damn money(for what they are)they are like 40 bucks for the next size up i got lug and nuts for 22 bucks here wooot

any tire place by you should sell them..just tell them you need the tuner studs that they use on the new VW's

Best price I found on studs was at ezAccessory.com...

ST948 Wheel Studs 12mm 1.50 RH 1.75" at 69 cents each

...shipping was more than the studs but they got here quick. For lug nuts I went Advance Auto Parts and they had them on the shelf. I hope this help some one as this thread looks just like every one I found when I searched and was little or no help.

You can go to freaking wal-mart to get lugs. They have a nice set of cold forged steel chrome lugs. Just make sure you remember your lug diameter and thread pitch.

Just letting you guys know that we found a new supplier for the screw-in wheel studs, so they are back in stock. Our price is $1.50 each in sets of 16 ($24 per set). We also have the matching nuts. I also got some 1.75-inch and 1.5-inch length studs for those who want something shorter. Plenty on hand and the new supplier seems a lot more stable than our old supplier.
