Well that is what I have in my car. It is a Kaminari kit. They arent in production any more and they are hard to find. I had to put tons of hours into mine to get it to fit right and look good. I personally think it looks good on my car although it isnt most peoples taste.

My understanding of the Kaminari kit is that it works, rather than be there for looks only.

That is NOT a 1st gen Kaminari front air dam. Just because some asshat sold the molds claiming it to be, doesn't make it so. I have an original in the basement, do I need to post pic? Still has the Kaminari sticker on the back. I have 4 of the 5 pieces of the kit, missing the rear air dam,

I knew asking 'if' I needed to post pics was a stupid question. lol. I'm a pic hog too. The Kaminari sticker is on the back of the air dam. The wing and side skirt are also part of the original kit.

The front air dam posted in the link by the thread starter is too contemporary for the era the 1st gen was produced and comes no where close to matching the styling of the car. It may in fact be a Kaminari, but it is not one that was produced for the 1st gen that I know of. That air dam has only recently shown up and I have yet to see it in any historical pics.

does anyone have pics of this whole kit on a car? not the nasty one posted initially, the REAL kit. let me guess, this thing is even harder to get than the IMSA bumper, right? i bought the last IMSA bumper made and now i dont know if i need to install it or not. thanks to you trochoid, i know want that front bumper pretty badly its very nice. so what are your plans for your kit?

Well icalled the kaminari companyand asked if he had it and he checked and said no and asked if he could describe it and he explained the one on that car and i bought a kaminari kit from someone and it looks like that one and it has the same side skirts as trochoid had and i got the rear bumper but it has the "nasty" front bumper. So I think it is a possibility that kaminari made two front bumpers. Unless i just ran into a wierd coincidence

I've been sitting on a GSL for 3 years, when I get around to putting it together, it will get the kit and a few other things. If I ever sell my 2nd gen, that one will become the DD.

If aussiesmg wants another fiberglass project, I would consider loaning the entire kit out for mold making. It's a good looking kit when installed. I also have a Mariah air dam that needs repair and one of CP Racing mold on whaletails. The whaletail I'll be happy to sell for 150+ shipping, the rest I'm keeping for now.

Sorry, but that thing is just plain ugly to me. Doesn't reflect the styling of a 1st gen at all. Sideskirts and wing I can deal with, not the air dam.
