i need the plastic parts for the headlight raise-lower linkage, can i get just the plastic or do i have to buy the whole linkage? thanks

ok, but what is it called?

 

its called a headlight linkage rod. there is a long one and a short one, figure out which one you need to replace and go to mazdatrix.com and order it there. i bought 1 quantity but they gave me a set in a bag. brand new shiny part with an official blue mazda part number sticker. blackdragonauto.com also has them but i think it is more expensive.

 

Headlight Linkage Rod. You have two rods per side, with two white plastic inserts per rod. You can't buy the insert, just the rod. Items 6 and 7 in the headlight section.

ok i'll try, i think it's pretty easy, just pop off the old one and pop on the new one.

Hey Crazy, have you tried a pick-your-part? pick-n-pull? I found a lot of full headlight assemblies on FBs in the junkyards that had the arms.

*shrugs* You never know, I honestly say hit up all the local junkyards before you go spending shipping and handling to get a part.

Then again i am a broke college student so I try for cheap first.

Naw man, don't worry about it. I hit up every junkyard from Oakland to San Jose and only came across 3 FBs... after looking at like 8 junkyards. So I understand the pessimistic view.
