Where to buy NEW hinge pins/bushings or hinges?

Anyone know where I can buy new hinge pins and bushings, or new lower hinges? It looks like my local dealer still lists the upper hinges ($35.75 ea) but they don't have the lower hinges. I'm not sure if my lowers are bad too, I just assume they are with the amount of play in my doors and I don't want to find out they are bad once I start the project.

I've read through several great posts on how to change them, but nothing that indicates where I can buy the parts new. One of the threads mentions using Nissan parts but the thread is a couple years old and it doesn't say what model to order.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind buying the new uppers from the dealer, but I hate to take it apart twice if I find that the lowers are shot too.

I've Been using replacement Door Pins/Bushings from Various Nissans for years....... At our Auto parts store they usually carry a line of "Help" Products. They include various different door hinge repair items, and it seems that the ones for Nissans Fit perfectly. Knock out your old ones, Install new bushings and Pins. Done.

Best bet, Just measure your pins and find the closest fit.

This is the kind of ingenuity that we're going to need now that a lot of these parts are no longer available. Nice work.

Went to Autozone, Advance, an Oreilley but none had any Nissan or any other foreign/metric door hinge parts. Will try Napa, Pep Boys and Carquest in the coming days.

Did you look on the shelves, or did you ask at the counter? The "help" section would be out on the shelves somewhere...

Both at Autozone & Oreilley. I checked the shelves first then asked. Autozone couldn't cross reference the doorman part # from their catalog on their shelf, and Oreilley said it was special order but recommended two import places (closed this weekend). Advance... Well they didn't seem interested in helping customers, nothing on their shelves and no place for it out there either so i figured they didnt have any hiding out back. If i'm not too busy at work tomorrow I will call Napa; they have two distribution centers near me and their staff always seems to know more than theother chain stores.
