Probally not, unless you got delivery problems with your exisiting pump, or you have increased somethign and need more fuel... At any rate, check www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com for a Holley or a Carter Fuel Pump.

I think if you go turbo, then you need the "special" pump that will automatically vary its output when your boosting...Im not sure though. I plan on eventually turbo'ing a street ported engine as well .

If you do both, you'll need more than that to be on the safe side. Try a Mallory Comp110, so you won't have a "buzz-bomb" living under your car like you will with the Holley or the Carter. The regulator (and you will want one in any case if you deviate from the stock fuel pump) in your turbo scenario will be one that has a port to reference from your boost psi signal. It will regulate pressure based on boost and where you set it at idle. Here's a pic of a used Mallory I picked up recently so you'll have a reference of what a real performance fuel pump looks like (albeit grimy...)...

hey Mario.. Will I need a regulator with the pump you gave me? Assuming that it works decent....

THANX LATERZ, Andrew

PS: I have a Mallory regulator.... It probably should have went with the pump that I once had...

The Mallory will definitely do the job, but I seriously doubt it needs a regulator, I have no idea what that pump was...here are two boost referenced regulators straight out of the latest Jeg's...the Mallory ad doesn't say it but that's what that little hole in the casing is for. I know...I got one of these...
