wheel offset

Hey,

I want to get some 8 inch or wider wheels for my gsl-se.

I am thinking of staying with stock radius 14 inch.

What offset is needed with such wide wheels? The wide wheels are for autox.

On a similar note, I found some adapters to put 5 lug rims on my 1st gen. I'm sure I will have to decrease(?) the offset on my rims to compensate for the thickness of the adapters, but how much? How much offset is best for moderately aggressive street driving?

you'd have to measure the width of the adapters to figure out how much to decrease the offset.

where have you found 14x8 wheels, i'm curious?
