For front and rear?

Isn't the track bigger in front?

I'm pretty sure an 8" wide wheel will rub on the strut if you try to keep it from rubbing on the arches.

yeah, I have 205/50/15 and the tire is within milimeters of the strut, and it sticks out a tiny bit past the wheel arch.

you can go 8 in the back, theres tons of room back there,

yeah, 8" won't fit up front, ESPECIALLY not with a 40mm offset..

I run 16x7 40mm ad have about 2-3mm of clearance tops.. In order to get the same with an 8" wheel you'd have to run 28mm offset (or less) but then you're not going to have enough space on the outside edge without hitting the fenders.

The widest I've heard people go without rubbing is a 7.5" rim up front, but even then you still have to run a 205mm tire which is a tab narrower than ideal for that rim. 215mm would be a better fit, but would rub without a little modification.

In the rear you've got tone os space.. 5 or 5.5" of offset is right at the edge.. plenty of space.
