What trim level car?
The GSL-SE need's more negative offset since the brakes sit out furthur.

Typical for that size wheel would be.....
S,GS,GSL.........15-25MM offset
GSL-SE...........40-50MM offset

That should get you very close, worst case scenario youd have to roll your fender lips, which is very easy to do with a baseball bat.
Those number are based on my old setup.....15x7 Centerlines I used to run with 205/50-15 tires. They were 7" wide with 12MM offset,so I added a little, since your 8" wheels will push out another 13MM (1/2")
My wheels fit fine with GS brakes and 1" drop.I had to roll my fender lips when I installed the GSL-SE brakes, but it cleared fine once that was done.

That outta do it.

Like I said,my 7" wheels fit great with 12MM offset.
Your 8" wheels will add 13MM to each side of the wheel,so to pull them back in to same point my 7" wheels sat at,you add 13MM to the 12MM I ran,and you will come out to about 25MM total negative offset. The thing to watch out for now is hitting the strut shaft/spring.I think youll be OK,but you might wanna take some measurements first.
With a 25MM offset,8" wide wheel.......your gonna have just about 5" of wheel inward of the mounting flange, and about 3" of wheel sticking out(deepdish).
