ok i was timing my trailing right after i did my leading and i was adjust the metal thing on th right side and it was still on the first notch it would go to the second please someone help

 

I really dont get what you mean. try to explian it a little better or something. maybe a pic. then we can help

 

I assume you moved the timing light pickup over to the T1 wire. Some timing lights will still pickup the leading ign even though you have it hooked to the trailing. Try moving the pickup to a spot more isolated from any other plug wires.
