Hello everyone,just wanted to say hello to everyone out there and introduce myself, First Gen lover for as long as I can remember. I've owned 8, on my 9th now, I've always done a few things here and there to hook up my car, but nothing like what I am about to do. I just acquired an 85 in good condition, First plan is to clean that sucker up the very best I can i fiqured I would wake up early this weekend, and start detailing the car, interior,brush, and scrub the hell out the carpet and clothe, then compound,clean,polish and wax the paint, clean up the stock rims. I only paid 150 for the car,off of a good friend of mine, off of another buddy I got the front and rear complete GSL-SE suspencion, A 12a and tranny, not rebuild, but a new factory carb, headers, high flow cat, complete pipes and a chrome muffler, I'll change the muffler to a racing beat. Glass sunroof, new hood, piece in between the headlight covers, passenger side door, newly upholstered seats in black vinyl, door panels, and a few other things for only 400 smack aroos.not to shabby rite? I tried to put a little web site together on MSN but I cant remember how to get there but i will let you all know whats up soon. I am taking suggestions on the engine compartment, It's not rusted but dirty i want to make it look as clean as possible, I was just gonna spray it black, but not sure any suggestios, the car is silver...
