some guy was talking to me about my car and told me he had an Rx-12 over in the phillipines when he was in the air force. never heard of one and was just wandering if any of yall have. pics would aslo be nice thanks.

j/k. he must be talking about a RX-2.

 

after doing some googling, i have decided:

 

maybe he has an rx3 with rx2 13b and FB front suspension....

 

theres the crotch rocket rx12, and theres a concept mazda rx12

 

He's probably talking about the "RE12" badge that appeared on some JDM early rotaries, it just signified the 12a engine.

Early RXs both for the Japanese and some export market had RE10, RE12, or RE13 badges depending on the engine option. The lettering was large on the grille, and small above a rotor shape on the rear.

Half the responses shown earlier on this thread seem to have got lost. What I posted earlier has gone, but far more important what has gone missing is a great photo of a 12 rotor engine.
