Whats my first gen worth?

I have a 83 blue non turbo 5 speed RX7 that I would like to sell, but I have know idea what its worth. The interior is pretty ruff, the body is pretty strait but needs paint. Motor starts and runs but I don't know how well. Tires will hold air but they are about toast. The a/c compressor was sitting in the passenger seat when I bought it. There is no stereo. It has about 200k miles on it. I bought it a while back to be a project car but have no time for it. I am a DSM guy at hart and anyone that ever had one knows how much of a hand full they are. So anyone have any idea what the car would be worth? Thanks.

I'd say ~$500 if it were me. I bought my '82 at 191Kmiles for $900, but its paint looks good and the interior is well above average, and it pulls strong. I'd also venture to say 1st gens are a bit rare up here in the NW.

I'm right north of KC, I would take $550 for it, cause that about how much I have in it. I will clean it up and get some pic's.

Sorry to steal the topic, but what should I offer for an '83 GSL with a blown seal, no radiator, "perfect" body, almost no rust, fairly decent interior (no radio), and a rebuilt tranny? The carb is not on it, but he has it. I figure that since installing the carb on these cars is a monumental pain in the *** I should be able to get the price down a little bit more. Also consider that it has the crap-brown interior and exterior lol

$50 for a one-owner GSL with a perfect body? Sounds a little low

The way you described it sounded like it's basically a decent-looking shell, as far as value. That color interior is also not a selling point. $50 might be a bit of an exaggeration, but this car sounds like it's not going anywhere soon.
