What's missing :( My new racecar.
What's missing :( My new racecar.
Hi, I just got a champion pro7 car and am trying to put it together.
This is the first racecar I've ever owned.
It IS my first rotary, and carb'd engine though.
I have NO IDEA what I am missing. I hope I can get a clear idea from everyone here about what I may need.
Thanks in advance for your help!
I am trying to put this together for my club (DMC).
This car was last run at the 25 hour at Thunderhill and ran fine then. It has been sitting for the last 2 years in a garage. Never turned on after it was pulled off the trailer from the track. So I am giving the car a once over to see what else I need to do. Any advice is much appreciated. I couldn't think of a better place to find help!
At the top of this picture is a fitting that is attached to the fuel line. What does that go to? and am I missing anything on that fitting?

This looks like some vacume advances. And looks like there are a couple places for vacume lines. Where do these go?

Missing a plug?

Missing anything else?

Missing anything elseee???

Your fuel return line has been replaced with a dry port for a fuel pressure tester. It allows you to test the fuel pressure at the carb without spraying fuel everywhere - no worries about that fitting.
