Today I was going up a hill, and all asudden my rx7 started to misfire, like it if wanted to shut off, so i shut off my music and my light and after that i stepd on it after the hill and it ran quite fine, and then before i hit the rotary down the street, i turn on my music and then i took the turn on the rotary and did it again and it actually turned off.. Started thinking it was my alternator but the car turned on find after that like nothing and my lights on my dash light up good as usual... After that i changed my alternator belt cuz i needed too, then later tonite, i took it to the highway to step on it there cuz i also took out the air pump belt and the ac compressor belt off, so I stepd on it getting on the highway and left it on 2nd(BY THE WAY, ITS AN AUTOMATIC) and stepd on it till like 6500rpm's and then brought it up to drive and then it felt like it completly died on me, i mean i was suprised it didnt shut of on me....... well thats my story, wish I could of made it shorter,,, WHATS YOUR OPINION GUYS??????

 

Fuel filter.....

and if you have extra cash... go for a fuel pressure guage, helps alot with diagnosing future problems.....

I agree with Jimmy. I think your tank is full of crap, that clogged your filter when going uphill.

 

it's an automatic... just kidding. have you upgraded exhaust? Yours cat are gonna fry without the air pump..

 

yeh, i have a highflow cat, thats it on my exhaust.

Right now my father pointed out that before he had put black tape on some wiring right on the ignition, and i think some wires could be fuckd up there, but lets see...
