Guys, I know this is in the wrong forum, but I trust you all & don't know 'them', so, there's 2 2nd gen convertibles seemingly in good shape except: needs motors or rebuilds. They're at a local mazda shop, owners haven't showed up for many months after an new motor estimate was given to them. I'm thinking of trying to contact the owners & offer next to nothing for one...what would you offer if you were me?

If you have a big enough corral, you can't have too many Sevens! Do I understand that both engines are shot? That's okay. What's the condition of the rest of the vehicles? Interiors complete and fairly decent? Bodies and tops okay? Manual trans, I hope....Are they truly abandoned? Try $250 to $300 each....Man, oh man, what a great problem....

Let me know if you wanna get rid of one. I'd be glad to have a conv. to add to my collection....
