What's the best shade of Yellow?
I'm considering changing the color of my SE with the mariah mode 1 kit from factory beige to a nice yellow (mustang?) color. Trouble is, I've seen some killer shades and some baby-diaper/puke yellows as well.
Have any of you folks painted an FB yellow? What paint code/shade would look best?

I have seen a stock yellow. Didn't really care for it. I can't say I have seen an FB in yellow yet that I liked but I think the color I saw on a mitubishi GT 3000 was called lemon ice. I think that would look really good. It was a really light yellow that looked like it was almost frosted.

On a side note... Ever notice there are no yellow WRX's? My friend showed me a brochure of a yellow WRX and that yellow seriously looked like ****!

The Corvette Yellow looks pretty good. I think its called Competition Yellow too. The frosty yellow of the 3000GT looks like crap.....almost pale green. The WRX yellow looks almost orange.

I looked through color books at Lordco, and the Chevy "Competition Yellow" looks nice (off of Corvettes, etc" as well as a couple other ford colors (I'm assuming off the mustang and stuff)
Go to your local auto paint store, and check out their color catalogues, they'll give you a good idea of what color you want.
House of Kolor also makes some nice colors, you might want to check out their aftermarket catalogue too.
