Question whats a anniversary x edition?

I just got a 1980 RX-7 just to mess around with and on the side there are badges for a anniversary x edition since I am a FC driver I don't know anything about SA's...could somebody help me out? Also, are the housings supposed to be blue? because I think it might be a rebuild. Thanks.

I've never heard of this car, or a stock engine with painted housings...Thats my two cents .

Oh, just had a thought...Could the "X" be for the roman numeral 10?

You could try calling Hayes Rotary. They may have records for it as far as the engine goes. Especially if it is something special, someone may remember seeing it or working on it .

there was an ann edition. someone on here had one. search the forst gen section on it and his thread should pop up. no engines from factory would be blue on the housings. also look to see if its a 13b. then you will know its a rebuild since the car is a 12a.
