What would you pay? 84 GSL-SE
Keeping this easy enough to read.
84 GSL-SE
54k original miles
Original 13b
Brown on Brown
Flawless interior
Flawless paint
100% bone stock
I drove it one time, fell in love. It drives very smoothly. It will however need new tires, full tune up. Hell, even the little "Unleaded Fuel Only" sticker is still on the gas cover!!!
So what would you guys pay?? I just want a general idea. KBB does'nt offer prices for anything older than a 1986 now.
Thanks
Justin

Terrified.
if it is really in that great of shape with no rust, starts right up every time, no smoke, etc. etc. I would say 4k isn't a bad price for something with only 54k miles on it. Maybe even more than that.

It is hard to find one in "mint" condition so if it truely is them it could be worth a little more but I'm with Glitch on this at around $4000. Sellers almost always think the car is worth more than the buyer, especially if they look at the book. The bottom line is , if you love the car, want the the car,and can afford it then buy it! As long as your happy with the price and the car it really doesnt matter.

I've been following the SE's for a couple of months and have kept up with 10 or so sales (I also bought 2 for myself). The closest one to yours seems to be a red one with 62,000 miles. Had blemishes on paint, some a/c issues and a windshield crack.Went for $3545 on ebay. Item # 300011395703. According to your description, yours should be worth at least $1000 more. Probably $2000 more. After Hemmings did that article on them the SE's seem to be bringing a little more each auction. I think they're getting ready to take off. I have other sales like 150,000 mile cars with 2000 miles on engine ect. if any of you are interested.

I could see myself dropping $5k for such a car. How many import sports cars in the last ten years of equal mileage and condition can you find for that amount? It might seem high for first gen seven but take $5k to a used car lot and see what it can get you.
