1.*OK what is this can?? its been sitting in my car just floating around and i dont have a clue what it is>>


2.*Now I know this is for my side mirrors .. anyone know where i can get a new one??


3.*Anyone know where i can get a all silver trim NEW not painted black??
Or maybe you know of somthing that can take the black paint off??



4.*And is there suppose to be somthing connected to this tube??

 

1- I believe is the charcol cannister.
3- They all came in black stock. Its just paint. Remove the trim and use paint stripper. Buy new plastic clips from victoria british to put it back on.
4- Is where the pre heat hose to the air cleaner goes

 

What does a charcoal canister do???

 

the canister is part of the fuel venting system. It keeps the car from smelling like gas all the time.

 

out of my 4 fb's, only 1 has had the charcole canister attached to the fuel tank when i bought them, one did smell like gas sometimes, but the one im driving now doesnt have one and doesnt smell at all
