What are these mounts for (AC Condenser?)

I think these are the mounts for the Ac Condenser, but I was unable to find anything to verify this by searching or checking the FSM.

I'd like to cut them off to clear more space for my 2nd gen oil cooler. The left one touches by the banjo bolt and the passenger side one just seems too close to the endtank.

It's ok if I cut them off or trim them to get more room with the 2nd gen fmoc?

Sure, if you don't ever plan to put the correct year oil cooler there.

Sorry, I'll go back to bee-hive.

I had been using an 82 FMOC under the shorter radiator. I'm switching to the FC Oil cooler and thinking of going back to the taller, skinnier radiator.

Whatever oil cooler I put on this car from now on will most likely be 2nd gen. There's a possibility I could go back, but I doubt I would ever install an -SE cooler in the car.

Just the -SE uses those mounts.

S1/S2 use the short rad and the oil cooler mounts below.

The -se mounts more in front of the radiator. The oil cooler lines run annoyingly above and below the front sway bar.
