Question What next? A couple of unrelated topics.

Much help has been lended to me by this forum, now I need to ask for a little more.
First, a little about me. I bought my first car in August of 1995, a tight and clean '84 GSL with luvers. The Luvers were promptly removed.
Since then, I've blown two engines, a radio, killed the steering, and stripped out the A/C, PS, and seriously f*d the sheetmetal.
During that time I also managed to pick up a parts car that netted me lots of goodies, including an antenna to replace the one I broke in the car wash.
Now, what to do. . .
I have Tokico non-adjust shocks and struts. I'm going to get springs soon. A K&N air filter. A freshly rebuilt carb by Sterling with larger primaries, modified AP, and mechanical secondaries. A cat replacement pipe from Racing Beat. The car runs great!
However, I have "wonder-steering", no tunes, slow power windows, and a few bulges where the metal has been stressed from trying to hammer out the dents.
My questions:
  • The differentail. What can I do to improve the smoothness of the car. Its jerky and clunky coming off of stops, and during decelleration. I've seen a few threads on replacing the gear oil/swapping in a Miata diff/ replacing the tranny fluid. What do I need and where can I get it?
  • What is a good headunit for the FB? I want something to match the redish dash lights. And speakers.
  • I played with the power windows many times but they still get off track. Should I glue the weather stripping to the tracks?
  • The body. Is there anyway to repair body panels that have been stressed? Probably not.
  • What, besides an alignment, can I do to tighten up the steering? I want to tighten the steering box, but I'm not sure I know how.
Well those are my issues, as of today.

Theres a tutorial on the mazspeed's website on the steering box. Works pretty good unless it was like mine, it was juts plain wore out, I rebuilt the entire steering box with new parts, upon taking it apart I notice that the gear on the sector shaft was completely shot, cracks and **** in it... Well anyways, try the mazspeeds site for the steering box. The clinking and stuff, sure you know how to drive a stick? LOL just joking

oops the power windows the reason they are 'probally' getting off track has to do with the nylon bushing in the regulators they are probally worn out

the sheetmetal you need to consult a bodyshop or take a class in autobody
