Well I opened my presents this morning, and I got all kinds of stuff thats going back into the 7 . My parents bought me (everything related to the car anyway):

1. (1) Gallon of 20/10 All Season washer fluid
2. (2) Gallons Prestone Antifreeze
3. (1) Case of Valvoline 20W-50 motor oil
4. (1) $50 Gift card for Schucks (or any of the other stores they own)
5. (1) Bucket for washing the car with
6. (1) 16oz spray bottle of Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather cleaner and conditioner
7. (1) 16oz bottle of Meguiars Gold Class liquid car wax
8. (1) 10oz bottle of Meguiars Gold Class tire protectant
9. (1) 16oz bottle of Meguiars Gold Class car wash and conditioner
10. (1) Nice sponge thing
11. (1) Meguiars sponge thing

I think thats it, but I know my 7 is gonna like it . I think I may use that gift card for some new wiper blades, or a K&N, or ?? Oh well, what did the rest of you get for your cars?

I got a Carter Fuel Pump, and 180$ cdn for my shift boot and my speakers...

I'll have to get some wax and cleaners..

i got $300 with which i bought a dellorto 48dhla and rb intake... she should like that.

hopefully i'll get some more money, and with my next paycheck will come the RB exhaust and a carter or holley blue with regulator

and then she'll scream with happiness

 

i got a bunch of armor all wipes.. new pedals and money to go get whatever i want for it, my rx7 was prety much my xmas present

 

I got a armor all detailing gift pack thing, very handy. a 3 ton floor jack, 30-150 lb/ft torque wrench, and a few other detailing things, like a sponge etc.

 

car related i got 2 tool kits, these are my first tools, i usually just use my dads since im still at home. i also got about $350 all together. im debating if that will go to my suspension or to start my motor swap... decisions decisions

 

what did i get? not that much related to my car
except for a really nice toolbox filled with all the tools plus some that ill need to work on my rex
i used to use my dads but he didnt like me leaving them around or losing them that much so he got me my own
other than that nothing for my car.

 

I got a 254peice craftsman tool set.

I got tools and all that a couple years ago, so I just needed the little stuff now . I used to get over $300 for Christmas like you guys, but not any more. I got $50 cash, and a $50 check. I also got the $50 gift card to Schucks, and $50 in movie rentals. I wish I could trade those suckers in for cash, Id have some cool stuff...Like oil cooler lines .

also agreed... with all that stuff you got, you need to take care of your insurance man.. not getting into your business, but all that other stuff is second hand if you know what i mean. just looking out for ya, but im sure you already know

 

Yea bud, hope your working on clearing that stuff up. We're all pulling for you ya know, you cant let us down.

Oh and I got (am getting) an air oil cooler from a friend of mine and another 79 intake manifold

 

I didn't get a whole lot in the way of my car (just a wash mit and an inspection mirror on a telescoping handle which should come in handy), but i did get digital camera, so i can finally take pics of my car without having to wait for my dad to remember to bring his home. On another slightly less-related note (but still about vehicle engineering), i got a book on the design of liquid fuelled rocket engines (i'm in the process fo building one), which should be very useful.

I still haven't figured out what I'm going to spend my $50 in O'Reilly Auto Parts gif certificates on though, so if you guys have any ideas, please let me know!

 

Well... my neighbors got me this Meguiar's "Limited Edition" Car Care Kit with it's own wooden box...

Pretty cool neighbors, eh?

And Miss Ginger got this new car/truck seat...

Soon as we get the seat belt problem solved, she'll be in business!

I got mine on the 23rd, for free from a friend.

Now mind you, the *** end is rusted to ****, there's no engine, the auto tranny is stuck in "D" (I think D means "Dammit"), but a perfect interior.

She's donating her innards, like a Wampaa (read: "Empire Strikes Back" reference), to the older, whiter, fat bitch that I have(err.... WILL HAVE SOON!!!).... (white 79 RX7 Widebody).


Good to see someone else got a new toy for xmas. Y'all got some shibby gifts... I got like 200 bucks in gift cards for Best Buy (PS2 maybe?), a Spongebob mousepad, a Monster Garage long sleeve t-shirt, a Sopranos t-shirt (from the Bada Bing! strip club) and hat, a subscription to Super Street, and a Gold's Gym membership. I did ok, I reckon.

 

Yeah if you dont have insurance, you got ZERO right to be on the road! PERIOD. But anyways, I know you are smart and have insurance now But if you dont you deserve everything they give you and more.

 

I got some cash so I can order the instrument guage panel that fits in the center speaker grill area. It holds 3 guages.

My Brother gave me a bunch of stuff plus the issue of Car 7 Driver with the First Drive review of the RX-8.

I also got a new digital camera to take pix of my Rx-7.

 

My wife got me a set of gorgeous 2nd gen seats for my GSL. I also got a 146(?) piece toolset and some replacements for some of the rubber door/window seals.

 

....a RB holley kit, coupla-ignitors, distibutor cap, rotor, a heat shield, RB exhaust system, Mazdatrix suspension kit...

If you guys were talking to me about getting the insurance, I have had it for a while...I mentioned it in another post, you must not have seen it. With all the people getting upset about "non 1st gen related" threads going around, I didnt think it needed it own . Anyway, yeah, Ive had insurance since mid November, maybe even longer .

Oh yeah, and my Grandma got me another case of Valvoline 20W-50 oil, two more gallons of antifreeze, and two Purolator oil filters . Im set . If only I could just get some damn oil cooler lines now .

EDIT - One more thing. My best friend had a mouse pad made for me at Kinkos with a picture of my car on it, and at the bottom it says "Mazda RX-7, The Honda Killer" which is what my license plate frame says . Its pretty tight. At the top it has the "RX-7" emblem I drew up on my computer. I like it .
