must be nice to just stick a in there cause you dont have to list any mods, as we allllll know what you have and want it someday
well i want one like yours anyway, but 12a carbed hehe

 

Mods are nice, a running car would be better..
It's all about Time. And the past 45 days, I've had none.

hello i have a 82 gsl mostly stock i have owned it for like 10 years set in the garage for 4 years waiting to pass e check then just changed the oil and it passed it has 170k plus miles with a lot of rust look for a different body the motor runs great

 

1979 gs red rb exh. 12a stock 1985 gs silver 12 stock 1985 gsl-se white stock red interior

 

I got a 78 or 79, dunno, rego'd as 78 but not sure, no badges or options, so I'm guessing its the base model.

although it is a japanese import, and all in pretty good condition

no real mods yet, later model '82-ish 12A and a decent exhaust is it. oh and japspec FC frontseats, and the loveable 4.44 diff 'burnout spec' diff gearing

 

1980 sa 12a R/B Header and presilincer.
one inch rizer on stock manifold and carb.
With a 1985 GSL-SE front and rear end.
Supenishion teckneks springs.
KYB shocks front and back.

1985 GSL here, but then again, ya'll already know that.

 

'84 GS - Original silver paint, second owner, Infinity speakers and Pioneer head unit, soon to have a K&N air filter, mech. secondaries. I'm slowly turning it into a J-spec GT Turbo (started with power windows, eventually going to get; 12AT equipment, -SE suspension, axle w/ LSD, and wheels, appropriate badging, and possibly a rear seat).

 

Neither. Black Leather wasn't available those years. I don't think black leather was available until the FC's.

 

You're right. The only black that was available was vinyl or cloth.

 

Oh who has one they want to sell..i need one bad.

I've never driven or rode in a 1st gen, how similiar are they in handling to the 2nd and 3rd gen?

I'm thinking about selling my 87 300turbo and buying a white 1st gen. The 300 is faster but i think the rx will handel better and be more fun to drive.

I think I have an S model....I have A/C ,power mirrors,sunroof,Black intirior w/the vinyl seats w/ the cloth inserts,crank windows,no LSD,rear drums,Digital clock...Uh I think thats it..Oh yeah,its an 83

 

That sounds like a GS. The S didn't have power mirrors. Do you have a maplight and a hatch light?
