your best bet would be to look for an 84-85 GSL-SE, they will be the best bang for your buck.

they have the larger 13b FI motor. all wheel disks, LSD and the larger 4x114 bolt pattern. and a better gear.

if you cant find one of them try getting a GSL, they have: 4 wheel disk, 12a carb motor, LSD.

things you should look at.

rust. a big rust spot is in the storage bens behind the seats. also large any large areas of rust should turn you away.

Price look around in the papers, to figure out an average price in your area. differnet places varry in prices. so look up 7's in your area and come up with about how much you should expect to pay and work from there.

oh and what ever 7 you get, you'll like it.

welcome to the board

hey thanks for the replies. i'm looking for the rx7 for a nice little project car for me and my dad. see him and his brother used to be really into rx7's. so i'm ploting to find a rx7 without him knowing, so it would act as a nice little suprise. so that's why i'm asking the questions i need on this board. not with my pops.

-any more input knowledge is power.
