Question What is a good compression range?

Stock FI 13b in GSL SE.

And how do I compensate for being at 5000 feet altitude?

Divide your tested number by 0.8617 to compare to sea level compression ratios.

Sea Level per Mazda is 105-150psi on a stock port engine. In my experience anything below 70 wont even start on its own.
