First off, a few questions:

1: What carburetor do you have? Stock Nikki, Weber, Holley, Mikuni, Delloroto, Demon, etc

2: Stumbles when? At all times? When you first hit the gas, or higher RPM?

3: What do you mean by drip oil? Does it come from the oil pan or from the OMP lines?

What I am thinking, is that you have the stock Nikki carburetor. Odds are, it has not been rebuilt in a long time or has sat for a while, and that is what is causing your stumble. If you are leaking oil near redline (how did you find this out?) I would guess there is a minor crack in your OMP lines, and when the higher pressure the OMP puts out near higher rpms puts more pressure through the crack causing a noticable dribble of oil.

i believe mine is a stock nikki, it's an 85 gsl-se....when i go past 4 rpm it starts to sputter...i know about the leak becuz there is drips of oil on the floor after i redline.....i can drive it as long as i dont go past 3.5 rpm...here is a video of my problem.....when i accerlate past 4, it will kinda pop and sputter....then the rpm will go down even if i hold on to the gas....i'd have to release the gas before engine dies out.

Well, it did sound like a carb backfire in the vid. But, if you really have an SE, you have other problems. Just to dispel any questions, post a pic of the engine bay. Either way, download the 85 FSM from the link in my sig and start reading/identifying/learning the various engine components, there will be a test later.

The stumble just before 4k is more common in the 2nd gens but cann occur in the SEs. It has to do with the aux ports not opening usually. Check and see if they are opening, you can watch the rods for movement while free revving.

One of the most common reasons for revving to be limited is plugged cats, not a cheap fix, deal with everything else first. Read up on how to check/adjust the TPS, check your timing, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, yada yada yada. Read through the trouble shooting section beginning page 14, sec 4B., after you've read the first 13 pages. Take that step by step, post back if you get stuck.

Also, provide more history on the car. Mileage, maintenance any mods, etc..

Iirc, once you have 15 posts, you can post pics, I may be wrong on that since the forum implemented that lame rule. Here is another site for online manuals.
