What To Do?

I Need advice on what to do now. I currently own an 82 GS that is my daily driver. My quandry is that I want a turbo first gen and I am not sure what to do. I have searched and I have come to the conclusion it is easier to turbo and SE than any other first gen. So, should I keep my 82 the way it is and buy an SE to turbo, or just turbo the car I have? BTW I was planning on a TII swap, not just boosting the stock engine. Any advice or opinions are appreciated.

But the SE engine, along with all the stuff you need. install whatever parts you can to the SE engine and then drop in car. "Drop in car" may actually take longer than a few hours. Could be a month or so. May want to buy a cheap beater as well.

I was going to do the TII swap but after not being able to find any close i decided im gonna boost my stock engine. I have an 85 gsl-se so it has the 13b so it won't be that hard for me but it looks like IanS has got you on the right path. I got a lot of links on people turboing N/A 6 ports one other thing you have to remember is with N/A rotars you cant boost a lot since the compression is higher than a TII. So you need less boost on N/A rotars than you do on TII rotars. In the end you have the same compression u just use less boost. Or you can get a 13b and out TII rotars in it.
