What could cause my clutch to do this?

I replaced my cluth now twice in a period of about a year. See https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...readid=244605. The current clutch, only 3 months old, is doing the same scratching noise when I put the cluth in with the engine running. Everytime it seems to be the pilot bearing breaking. My question is, what in the tranny could be causing this?

The bearings on the transmission input shaft could be bad, or the shaft could be slightly bent. That would make the shaft vibrate and would tear up the pilot bearing quick.

the shaft that rides into the pilot bearing. he means.. if it is bent, it will **** up your pilot bearing quite fast. For a different method of explaining it.. which I kinda like.. say your gf is the pilot bearing.. (inner diameter), and you are the input shaft nailing her. If you wiggle around a bit the diameter will get slopped out more .. yeah.. I shoulda shut up back up there.. but its late n im goin crazy. hope that helped

edit : im a ****** moron.. an I love it
