what can u take from a 86GXL and put in a 83gls

Hi, I picked up a 83 gsl for 2800 U.S in the outskirts of the chicago suburs. Was that a good deal?? Well anyways i also picked up the 86 GXL for 300 bucks(95000mi but crap body). the 83 is really clean so I would part the other car if it was worth it.
Has anyone changed over the adjustuble suspension??? Would like to know I have so time on my hands and some friends that are good at swaping parts.

thanks.

The suspension swap would take a lot of custom work. I don't believe it is something that will bolt on. You can use the 13B engine from the GXL.

Its really not that fast, gets 20 miles a gallon on a good day and eats oil. ON the other hand it looks cool and really fun for drifting. 2500 Might be a little high for a reg rx7 but the GLS is worth 3000 at least in good condition. It has leather and a nice system for a 83 (8 track player sold separately). Also if your gona spend 2500 I would go with a 84 gls-se if you like 1st gens body since it comes with a 13b motor and is easyer to swap a newer 13b later on along with about 30 more hp.
