Question What Can Be Removed Under The Dash?

Quick question here. Did some searching and couldn't really come up with much. Some pics would really be helpful if anyone has 'em. I already removed my air conditioning components under the hood, but got to thinking about all that extra stuff under the passenger side of the dash. Looks like a bunch of black plastic canisters and stuff. It gets in the way whenever I try and work under there. Is all of that stuff necessary or does some of it go with the AC and require removal? I know there is a lot of equipment in there that deals with the heater, so I don't wanna screw that stuff up, but is there anything under the dash that I can take out? I really don't know much about the heater and what components go with it, but I'd like to take some of that stuff out if possible. Please help if you know!

Jamie

Yeah; I'm interested on this topic also???
I removed a perfectly working Air Conditioner and all its wiring to include the Relay's and unpluged everthing else,
(Now my Unit w/Buttons that controls the Vent, Bi-Level, Heat, Defrost does not Respond).

Does any Guru's in Rotor World know which Wire Connector needs to be Reconnected.
Did the Search Thingie and could not find the answer.
Thanks

Did any of you guys ever find out anything about this? I remembered today when I took out my AC I just broke off the two lines (for the freon?) that went into the firewall. Not the coolant lines. The two AC lines obviously have to be going to something under the dash which could be removed as far as I'm concerned. If anyone out there has successfully removed some of the crap under the passenger side dash please help all of us out here!

I would imagine there are 2 black boxes under there. I haven't really looked before. One of them is likely the heater core, and the other is probably for the AC system, and can be removed. But the heater core has to stay, unless its going to be strictly a race car.
