What blue paint is this?

Found this blue 7 picture somewhere on the forum a while ago. Anyone know whose car this is or what blue that is? Considering going blue, too.

Second picture is a similar blue, 2009 Honda Dyno Blue Pearl (B561P), that I am leaning toward.

Third picture is Jimbo II's car, the overall look that I'm going for.

Thanks.

aThe first one is codeblue. The color is, I believe, a 2004 honda color. I'll call him tomorrow and have him post the color name (and code) if he has it.

That first one is awful close to the color on my dads 10th anniversary miata. Really nice color.

Looking around, based on above info, I found more shots of codeblue's car. Love the combination of the blue with the silver rims. Very nice. Should look decent with my Konigs.

Does anyone have an Impulse Blue SA? Not sure if this was an RX-7 color.

Ok, I just talked to Dave. The first picture is the paint job before the one that's on the car now, which are shown in the pics just above. The darker blue in the lower pics is not a honda color, but a toyota 4 runner. My bad. The blue in the other pic started from a paint chip and they went from there with more flake, added tints, etc....it would be tough to match without doing a light shoot on the car.

Yup Midnight blue is the end all of blues for sure. hmmm pearl clear coat. I do love pearl paint also. I'm so biting your paint job that is sick.
But too be fair I was tossing around pearl paint vs midnight blue. I just love midnight blue. My dad was a corvair mechanic and had a midnight blue corvair coupe.

Well, I was thinking that I'd like something that had somewhat of a contrast to the black bumper moldings and window trim - like the Dyno Blue Pearl should. Now, I'm reconsidering, based on how great the darker blue looks. One thing that I do know is that I really want to keep away from anything with any hint of purple in it.

I had a sample of the Dyno Blue mixed for me today. I'll have to shoot it and see how it looks.

Thanks for the info on the Toyota Midnight Blue.

Found Bionic and Blue Print. If these pics are correct, both are a little too light for me.

Didn't find Fusion.

Fusion is shockingly cool. Narooma isn't bad. Probably going for the more subdued Toyota Midnight Blue if Dyno doesn't work out. Thanks for the ideas!

Shot the Dyno Blue and can't commit to it. Just doesn't look right for the 7. I'm going to have to follow ©ØÐËߣüË's lead and go with Midnight Blue or something very similar.

Painted one spare fender with my sample. This blue is great. It has both silver and blue flake. I'm sure that it will be even more impressive with a deep clearcoat. Think I finally found my new color.
