No need to change your radiator out. Works fine here in the desert.

I bought a 3-row rad from the Radiator Barn for about $115 shipped. It works great. Keeps the temp needle down on the 1/4 mark in the summer. Hope this helps.

What year car do you have?

If you have an 83 or newer, then get an air-to-oil cooler from a 79-82 and mount it in front of the rad with custom hoses. If you have an 82 or older, then get the longer 83-85 rad and put your oil cooler in front of it. This is what I did on my 82 and I couldn't overheat the car if I tried.

I got a radiator for radiator.com. It was $114 and was a drop in replacement. Everything was a perfect fit. It is a 2 row radiator (same as stock, I believe).
With a 180' thermostat, the temp gage is rock solid 1/3 of the way up the gage. I did the swap a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased.
