ok my 84 -se has a problem with the windows going down only where i have to play with it goin up an down an so on to get the windows fully down but going up is smooth and quick, i looked at the rail for the windows and everything seems to be tight, i did notice that it looks like there should be some sort of bushing mayb in one of the holes in the bottom of the window, is this tru or do i have someother problem that im overlooking

that should get you straightened out. about the bushing, idk i can't picture it in my head lol.

 

There are two holes in the bottom of the window. Each hole should have a white nylon insert and bolt attaching it to the mechanism. Compare it with the window on the other side. The window will never work right unless you have both.

 

do you have a pic of that white nylon instert where it's suppose to go and how it's suppose to look because i dont believe i have it on either window because they both are acting the same way
