weird noise

weird noise
now lately whenever im pressin the gas and hittni about 3000-4000 rpm im hearing this sound kinda like ping ping ping.... comeing from the engine
im not sure of what it could be
any ideas?

but it speeds up as i rev higher
i dunno
kinda sounds bad tho
wouldnt mind findin out
maybe ill try and listen and look in the engine while i floor it in neutral

The alternator goes w/ the revs of the engine. I'd check the alternator, or have a friend check it, whatever works.
