Weber vs Dellorto vs Mikuni

I'm curious which sidedraft carbs perform better and which are easier to service, or if there's even much difference. I imagine Weber parts to be most available, but understand the Dellortos to be the best of the three. I found a Mikuni 45phh w/ 12A manifold and also have a 48 Weber dcoe that I'm considering. Has anyone run multiple sidedrafts or can effectively compare them? Also, what are typical prices of used systems, and how much would an overhaul kit typically run?

If you trawl around the TWM inductions website you will find an article by racing beat that compares mikuni and dellorto on a street ported 6-port which provides a degree of like for like comparison.

I've used webers and dellortos, not mikunis. Certainly tuning progression can be easier on the dellortos due to the progression slot. However a good tuner can get either to work well and a bad tuner can make them run bad.

Pick the best deal for you and then learn how to get the most from it would be my advise
