weber carb Q.?

Question weber carb Q.?

i have a 12a that i am looking at running a weber on. getting a rebuilt one off a mate that he no longer has any use for...(sold his rotor the stupid *** ). i was just wondering when u put the weber on did you notice any differences at all?
performance, fuel consumption, sound of the engine. anything wat so eva, just lookin at the pros and cons.

any input would be appreciated.

Yes my friend you will notice all of the above after installing a weber. Is it a sidedraft or downdraft?

it's a downdraft 48IDA...does that make much difference?
which is the better for a rotary?

oh from memorey you may have to have aftermarket fuel pump and regulator to supply for its potentional the stock only supply 2psi i think the weber needs 5-7psi not sure tho

the Weber 48 IDA is a BEAUTIFUL carb. Thirsty, but beautiful.


You'll want a Holley Blue electric fuel pump, a Holley LOW fuel pressure regulator (the 1-4psi one), and a fuel pressure guage. the Weber 48IDA only needs 2.5-3.5psi, but lots of flow.


It's hands down, the best carb money can buy, in my opinion.
