Weber carb - IS this normal ?

carb is a 45 dcoe racingbeat two peice manifold , it has velocity stacks on it . I've been tweaking this thing all day getting it to run right , And I just noticed when I shut it down the rear venturie of the carb allows a steady stream of fuel to pour into the engine . It took about 2 minutes for it to stop I imagine it only stopped because I assume the bowl drained it's entire contents into my rear rotor housing . Anyone else have this issue ?

Nope, sounds like its clogged with something, or maybe the throttle cable is hung up. fuel should only shoot out when the accelerator pump is activated.
