Weber 36DCD's revisited

I am in the process of rebuilding the carbs on my 80 and noticed that there is no jet screwed into the emulsion tube for the secondary. I thought maybe someone had screwed up and lost one, so I quickly opened the top of the other carb and it is the same. No jet. Anyone have enough experience to know if this is the way it should be?

ok, that makes me feel better. I finished the rebuild and mounted her back on the manifold. Now just one to go. And then the GSLSE suspension swap... And then something else, I'm sure. Autox season is fast approaching and I am still not ready.

Hey Nimrod, what size primary and ap jet are you running and is your car stock port. I still have some ground to cover with this thing. Also, anyone else with this setup can feel free to drop their setup info.

Lost bouncing between lean and rich,
James

Whatever it came with originally, streetport. I posted all about my setup several times on this board and on Mazspeed, and so have others. A search will do you wonders.

Well, I searched prior to posting and had no luck using 36dcd as the term. 36 dcd are too small for our search engine and weber turns up more dcoe and ida than anything. I will dig some more. When you got your setup, had it already been prepped for the streetport needs. Sounds like it, but just clarifying.

Anyone else?
