webber characteristics

what are the characteristics of a webber carb on a stock 12a engine...why is it not recomended by RB?

I think it is because the Weber is awesome at flowing alot more fuel and air. Without porting or a header mod, it is worthless. That larger amount of fuel and air can't flow any better through a stock port than with the original Nikki carb.

Don't see why. Use a 40DCOE or 45 with 36mm chokes in and you should be fine. But you have to know a teeny bit about how webers work.


Not tried, but I do have a lake cities manifold for a 12A in the garage :-)

weber carbs are way more tuneable than most holley carbs so ultimatle the weber carb would be a better choice overall..
