webber 48 IDA good price??? please help

Hi thanks for stopping by, ok How much is a reasonable price for a:

Webber 48 IDA carb
Webber Intake
Accelerator linkage
K&N filter assy

I calculated that from racing beat this setup will run roughly 905 CaD which is 791 USD now whats a good (again reasonable ) price to pay for this setup used?

I need your input A.S.A.P

thanks

WELL!....My momma always say.....................
New to used subtract 1/2! So $395 ish, give or take......Good luck finding a setup that cheap tho! Well just goes to show momma isnt always right! For car parts that is! A fair and honest price for a good do not need to rebuild set would be $550.......Thats me, and my mommas 2 pennies..........

I paid 410 for my Used RB Dellorto 48DHLA with RB Intake shipped. I thought that was a pretty good deal as it did not need a rebuild for it, But a Filter was not included.

You best bet is to search in the for sale section for the going rate and base your price off that. Thats what Id do.

If that carb is in good shape (recently rebuilt by someone with skills) then that price isn't bad, $800 for air filter to intake manifold in guaranteed condition. If the carb's history is wuestionable though its too much.

Is the carb tuned for your rotary 12a or 13b? This is where you can run into a lot more money, Does it include a variety of jetts?

this carb was previously used on a 12a motor, how can that be a good price when you can get a new setup from RB with all the components for 791USD I called they said they will ship for free so i dont see the great deal here 791 USD = 905 CAD

no clue if the carb was rebuilt or what I will go look at it today and let all of you know I will take some pics for your opinion

Oh I and did some searching for you. Weber's with the same stuff you got seem to be going for about 500-600.
500 with just bare stuff
600 with extra jets and such, Special tuning, etc,
all prices USD.

I would check with this Cheesehead, he usually has some IDA's around. I bought mine on ebay off Camocarl. Intake, filter, and carb for around $550 or so. Check ebay often.

$780 is about the price that I got when I sold my 48IDA, 6-port manifold, air filter and stock fuel pump a couple of years ago. It was only about 3000 miles old.

If he doesn't go for the $500-$600 range, just save up the dough and get yourself a new one from Racingbeat.
