Weather stripping alternatives?
I remember reading about a month ago that it's possible to shorten an FC's weather stripping to fit an FB for the door, but now I can't find the post. I found some more affordable weather stripping on eBay and was wondering if I could adjust it somehow to work. Call me stingy, but I'm going back to school this fall and don't have much money to spend $200 to replace all the cars' weather stripping. Suggestions? Thoughts? I appreciate any wisdom. Thanks.

e-bay has the door main weather stripping for $60 for both sides. I used it and it fit perfectly - it even included all new clips. I was amazed at how much quieter the car is. Money well spent.

Oh really? Are you referring to the second generation weather stripping listed? I haven't seen any for the first generation. Also does the window seal work as well as the door seal? Has anyone tried this?

What do you mean by "does the window seal work as good as the door seal"? I bought my window seals from Mazda years ago, so I can't answer that question.
Are you talking about the window channel seal (big) or the window seal at the base of the door by the door handle that wipes off water when you lower the window?
